In the hot summer months its a great place for the kids to be able to play, either at the fountains, the playground, or up at Fort Kidd. Plenty of open space to run and play, and WFP is pet friendly, too. The observation deck...More

This seems to be a favorite with locals on hot days. Many people were playing in the large fountain. There are large fields for activities and the Sun Sphere is located on the other side of the bridge, just a short walk. Free parking is...More

The city has done wonders with this park: the Sunsphere is still in use, the Convention Center was built along with an amphitheater, and there is a pond and a kind of water park! I saw a lot of families enjoying themselves with all these...More

Nice area, clean, just not a lot to do or places to eat without walking over to Market Square. But it is pet friendly.

We attended a reception in the Sunsphere, which is well worth a visit. The facility comfortably accommodates groups up to thirty. Because of the doughnut shape of the lower levels ("In the end, all things merge into one, and an elevator runs through it..."), larger...More

Not many city can claim a "World Fair Park" as a destination. Wheather you want to see the iconic Suntower or stroll the trails, the park is in great condition with waterfall, lake and concert venue. Stop by the museum of arts or just hangout.

This is not a large Park however it is worth a little stroll to see the stratosphere and to wander the pathways. This is probably not the entire World's Fair location just a smaller piece of it but it is worth 30 minutes of your...More

This park in downtown Knoxville has green lawns, a great pond with a fountain, a waterfall and a great concert venue. There are regular festivals in the summer and even if there is nothing going on it is a great place to bring a picnic...More

We never miss the 4th of July celebration in World's Fair Park. Such a fun, down home, and family friendly experience. Kville Symphony will keep you entertained, and the fireworks are great. Grab a snack from one of the many vendors.

Yes, dogs are welcomed at the park. They may need to be on a leash if they like to run around a lot, but, if they stick with you, it should be okay to go without a leash.
