Worlds fair park is a nice downtown spot to take your kids. It host many events and the fountains & park are fabulous for kids. You can also go in the sunsphere and take in the great views of Knoxville, UT & More.

Finally decided to check out Worlds Fair Park. Picked up some bagels and coffee and headed up around 6:30 am. We had our old dog with us and enjoyed a leisurely stroll exploring all the areas around the park. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and all the places to relax and watch the joggers and other dog walkers.... More

Water splash for kids, picnic area on the river, very welcoming and family friendly, parking can be an issue but on a nice day, it's worth it.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn so we walked in the park. It is a cute park with water features. It was very relaxing.

Parking is free. The sphere is free. There are no bathroom located in the sphere and the a/c isn't great. The elevator takes you up and you can stay as long as you like. It provides decent views of the area. The lighting is poor and Windows are scratched and dirty so getting a decent photo to share is difficult.... More

The sphere and walking area are very nice, if mostly uneventful. Very pretty to walk around the water and gardens. The splash pad area is pretty cool. The playground (which I'm not sure is actually part of this park or the one next to it) is not in very good shape. Almost all of the equipment is damaged or missing... More

Overrun by Poke'man searchers but the park itself is quite nice, clean and well laid out with nice walking paths and fountains, plenty of places to sit, and even an elevator in the Sunsphere that you can ride for free for some great views of the city..!!

Perfect way to beat the heat. It was a steamy 95 deg. The kids loved playing in the fountain, and park across the street. the view from atop the golden globe was cool. I'd like to spend more time there when an event is going on.

Thank David B
