Albeit this is a small park, yet it encompasses much beauty and inspiration. The statue of Alex Haley is a little formidable in size, but is beautiful. I am sure it captures his character and charm nonetheless. The sculptor accomplished a great artistic feat.

My children and I just happened to drive by and find this gem of a park! The playground is suitable for young children especially in spring when it is not too hot. There are walking paths, people jogging, biking, and the view is beautiful!
