We saw a country music concert here. It's not that huge of a place which means that unless you're sitting in the tippy-top you can probably see the performer with your own eyeballs. I don't know if it's the nature of the concert, the bijou, or maybe just Knoxville but the atmosphere was very relaxed; people were bringing drinks in... More

First time to visit this place and did not realize all the history. Many, many celebrities performed here. Such a great place and the architecture is beautiful.

It was worth a visit just to see the old style ticket booth and entrance area. The place was closed so the interior could not be seen but the place reeked with history and well worth a visit and try for a time when it is open..

We went there to see one of our fave bluegrass groups Lonesome River Band with Sammy Shelor. Were delightfully surprised to see another group we hadn't seen before, Gibson Brothers. A great evening in a beautiful setting.

I love this theater I have seen Jacks Mannequin and Chris Titus here just to name a few. There really isn't a bad seat in this theater. Though it gives you almost a feeling of being in a church. When going here to see a music event you could not ask for better sound. The only downfall would be with... More

This was my first time at this theatre. A wonderful place, full of history. The sound was amazing and every seat was great. There are a few steps but they do have a lift if you need it. The show we were at had drinks, but I'm not sure if they offer food.

Attended charity event at the Bijou Theater recently, my first visit. Very impressive theater. I think it was build around 1905, still maintains a special character. A local gem.

Not a bad seat in the house! Super small venue, amazing for seeing your favorite artists - up close! The sound was great - even managed to drown out the talkie-loos a few rows back. Would definitely come back again!

Our evening at the Bijou was memorable. The theatre, while several decades old, acoustics are in very good condition and the seats roomy. We sat in the main floor orchestra section, eight rows from the stage and were slightly above stage level, which had a fine view of the entertainers. If you prefer a balcony view, suggest you review their... More
