I took my husband here for his birthday. We loved this zoo! Just enough variety to make it special but not so large that you wish you had a shuttle to ride. I loved the ability to feed the giraffes. I was not a fan of the metal fences. They made it hard to take great pics. The food was... More

The zoo is laid out well so you can travel around without having to backtrack past things you already saw.

We are blessed to have such an amazing zoo in our backyard! We especially love the otter and meerkat exhibits. We purchased a yearly membership because it's a great place to spend a few hours on the weekends!

We visited in May. I had heard great things about this zoo, but we were very disappointed. very few animals, and the entire property was run down. I know they have a construction/ expansion project going on, but that is no excuse to not maintain the rest of the park. We enjoyed the animals that were there, but thought it... More

Our grandson had his birthday party at the zoo! A special house with colorfully painted walls in a zoo theme had tables laid out animal masks and with crayons and coloring opportunities of zoo animals. A lady came in with a ferret. She explained about the ferret's behavior and environment and then let the kids touch the ferret. We had... More

We go about twice a year and have such a good time every time! Animals are well taken care of, and we love the open exhibits. They used to have a butterfly area where you could walk through it , but they took it away and that's about the only disappointing thing I can say. The splash pads are so... More

Despite the ongoing construction, my family always has a great time at the zoo no matter what time of year we go. In the summer, the splash pad is open. Great place to cool off. They allow you to bring in food, so that helps when there during mealtime. There are some eateries on site though.

This was my first visit and I love zoos. The kids area was amazing but kind of confused about why the beaver and skunks were in that area - should have been in a North American section. The reptile area needed some not so milky looking glass so you could see into the exhibit. The red panda exhibit and the... More

We usually visit during field trips. The new enclosure for the lions is awesome and I loved to walk up to the giraffes. Love it.
