We arrived to be told it was closed due to a wedding, despite the fact we checked the web site and called. What we did see from the road they looked small and pretty poor so we decided not to return. Tip - go to...More

What an incredible place to visit. Once I heard Knoxville had a botanical garden I just had to go. First start off at the Visitors Center to get info on everything and grab a map. One very special site is the memorial garden and the...More

There is no one on the premises when you visit . We walked around the garden and arboretum on our own but there was nothing worth seeing . No one has even attempted to maintain this garden . It was unkempt and unattended . Quite...More

Visited here some time ago and was not overly impressed with gardens. But then we have been to many first rate gardens in Victoria, Chicago and elsewhere. Needs better mapping and trail signs to invite people.

What a marvelous setting for annual family portraits at the terraced gardens there. Or check out the old growth trees of numerous species that dot the grounds. Admire the seemingly endless stone walls. Visit the newly built center for guests . . .

KBG holds so much for visitors - from beautiful gardens, educational activities, locales for weddings, and more - it's one of my children's & my most favorite places to explore, and introduce to visitors!

The staff was nice....I am too verbose to stop there. Large grounds but mostly walking trails and urban gardening and educational area. Very small amount of flowering or truly interesting plants. Nice trees, but I have those in my yard. I think I saw an...More
