I live near Knoxville, and went to this Theater as a very young child. But, it is so much more glamorous now. I have been to two classic movies this past year both were packed with people. But, still well worth the crowd. I highly recommend the Christmas Time showing of "It's a Wonderful Life. " and this past Summer... More

Another restoration project that has preserved the glory of being at the theater for those in this modern era. Such styling and craftsmanship. Being inside is like stepping back in time. The seating was comfortable. This place made the concert an even more enjoyable experience.

The Tennessee Theatre is a beautifully restored historic theater which was established in 1928.It is a wonderful place to enjoy symphony, concerts, and Broadway plays. Be sure to attend a free mighty musical concert the first Monday of the month when they play the Mighty Wurlitzer organ.

This is one of the greatest theaters around, there's not a bad seat in the house, every seat give you great views of the stage and the artist that are performing, the historic value of this place is unmeasurable. It is a must see if you're in Knoxville.

We have lived in this area less than two years, but are already "Friends of Tennessee Theatre" and have attended at least six performances there. The venue is a beautiful restoration. The acoustics are fantastic. Our favorite seats are the center of the first row of the balcony. We try to take all out of town visitors to this special... More

The atmosphere is great, they serve alcohol at the events there. It has been kept up and is amazing. It does really depends on the event if you want to go or not. Watching old movies there is a blast.

I've been going to this theater since I was a kid. Mostly to watch movies then, but now mostly for concerts. I enjoy this size venue for music over the huge arenas that exist today. The entire theater was restored several years ago and is now worth a visit just to see inside the auditorium (don't miss the ceiling). We... More

I've been here at least twice. It's a beautiful place. They usually have good concerts there. Plenty of seats and most of the tickets are fairly cheap. I went to see Styx and was in the balcony and got good pictures. Most flash is not acceptable.
