My recommendations would be to find a company that offers discounts for +3 groups and to take the night/dawn trip because the lava is more impressive, and to actually leave your phone/camera for 5 min (you only get about 15) to actually see and hear...More

My partner and I went on the volcano hike and we were disappointed because of the false information that was given to us. The sales person advised us (Plus the others in our group) that the hike would be 4 hours. Upon our arrival the...More

We had quite the wait before our ride was allowed in at night due to rain. BUT, the wait was worth it! The sky was lit up by the glow as we rode to the top, worthwhile in itself. Being at the rim of an...More

Very Impressive to see lava at a distance and to hear the occasional rumble below. We were told to park our car in an exit position, head lights facing out, in case of any "eventuality"!

I went at night by minibus with a group & I thought I would see a glowing hole but instead saw an ocean of lava racing away underneath us. I could see it splashing against the rocks. It was amazing and quite hypnotic. The site...More

Definitely worth a visit, the volcano was a little unsettled so we could only stay for 5-10 min taking photos but very memorable. We visited the museum to understand about all the volcanos in the area and I couldn't believe when we actually saw the...More

The first time I went here, it was 2014, the lava could not be viewed, but now it is really scary. One of the most terrifying views into hell ever.
