The hubby and I were watching friends kids(age 3 & 4) for a long weekend and we decided to take them out to Killinkere Pet Farm on July 16th, 2016. We got there just as they were opening, it cost €24.00 for the 4 of us, but it was money well spent. The kids got a cup of carrots to... More

Paddy Reillys visitor and pet farm is probably the best place in County Cavan for children to spend a magical day.

Great day out with family, take the kids and grandparents, something for all. On arrival we were met by the Owners and welcomed, showed us around briefly and explained where we could have a picnic, they also have a shop selling scones, tea coffee, ice pops etc....in a lovely traditional cottage style. Looking for something to do with young children and decided on driving out to this pet farm - was a big difficult to locate but we go there. We had a fantastic visit - the animals all look well cared for and all pens/stables all spotlessly clean - staff were very friendly and took the time to show us around... More

We visited here after a recommendation from our hotel. We didn't know anything about it other than the general direction, so we were very pleasantly surprised. We received a very warm welcome from the staff then given a wee cup of carrots to feed the animals. We fed the deer, Shetland ponies and goat before taking a walk (2mins) down... More

Great welcome from Paddy and his wife. Lots of animals for the kids to touch and feed. Paddy spent time telling the history of all his animals, we had a horse ride and a tractor ride then we had tea and scones in the cafe. A really enjoyable experience. The Evans Family

Visited the farm on a cold and damp October day but the families spirits were lifted by the warm welcome we got from this friendly family farm. We were personally showed round by the owners and took on a pony ride and ride on the 50 year old vintage tractor. Followed by a lovely hot drink and home made scones... More
