Very nice view. I think that if you came from a landlocked country then maybe you found the view amazing. The entrance was too espensive so we decide to enjoy the view from the parking. Although we drink a coffee at the cafeteria. Average prices...More

This was a real highlight of my honeymoon. It was 15 euro for us to go through, but it was absolutely fantastic. I had to face my fear of heights a few times but the views were worth it!

Nice spot, didn't bother going done to the lighthouse as enough can be seen in the car park, and the €7.50 a bit Steve when you have a large group

A well presented visitor's centre souvenir shop plus a decent cafe. We enjoyed our stop there and combined with the walk to the signal station provides a lot of interesting history

Beautiful location. Heather in full bloom. Lizards sunbathing. Los of birdlife. Lots to see in the main centre and on the walk in and around the lighthouse keepers cottages. 25 euro for a family. Cafe on site serves good food. Disappointing not open at 9am.

We visited the cafe first and found it very expensive for what we got - €3.75 for a tea?? Staff were not particularly friendly. The baby changing table is in the ladies toilets which is really very old-fashioned. The €7.50 entry fee seemed ok although...More

Some visitors centres have average food, well Mizen Head has fantastic food, obviously the price to match but a welcome treat after the steep steps and walk to the Southern tip of Ireland.

We were there quite early on one of the weekends on a sunny day, and we had an amazing experience. It was scenic and picturesque, plenty of photo opportunities. Prepare to do a lot of uphill walking. We easily spent 4 hours there, taking in...More
