Worth a visit - the characters make it worthwhile!

A good insight into history of the castle and area. The characters brought the place to life and made it interactive. Our 3&4 year olds loved it. Humour for the adults too - it was fun, worth a stop

Engaging experience!

Fun tour led by period actors! Each was very well informed about the castle and its history. Very well done keeping in character -- even improvisation as we asked questions. Overall very engaging and would recommend, especially for families.

Interesting

An unusual tour of an ordinary castle. You are taken around it by costumed guides working in character for the Lady of the family, the cook and the apothecary. This was very effective. The characters were very well presented with interesting, informative scripts.

Very informative. Great staff!

What a great surprise!!

Did lots of different tours on this past trip but The Dalkey castle tour was a highlight. Well organized staff and the actors are wonderful on the tour. Lots of fun with great facts about the origins of the castle. We will return for sure....More

The castle itself with a skit that they do probably is about an hr at the most! then if you want to walk around the grounds, they also have a small movie room that shows a movie, I beleive it was about 20 minutes long... More
