Road the Dart from Sandymount to Dalkey for a morning visit. The town is beautiful, went to view the sea and watched the seals play. We were hungry and remembered ones tell us about Finnegan’s. The Ryder’s cup was beginning so it was a perfect...More

I came to Dalkey on a Maeve Binchy ‘pilgrimage’. One of the staff at the Heritage Center recommended Finnegan’s as Maeve and her husband’s pub. By total coincidence, I was seated next to him (!! Gordon Snell) and so could pay my respects and extend...More

This pub was recommended by our travel agent. We went around 3pm for a late lunch. The prices were reasonable, and the food was excellent. We had chicken parm and it came with mashed Potatoes, beans, and carrots. Staff was all very friendly!

We LOVED Finnigans and regret not going back for dinner. Not only is it a real pub with a hometown feel, but the food and service were great - and we thought the prices were more than reasonable.
