Beautiful medieval church with Fisherman's Chapel next door. A gem of a building with amazing ceilings. The chapel next door has the remains of beautiful wall paintings. The church has a huge graveyard with many very old graves including one of a soldier who fought at Waterloo. Fascinating

A wonderful welcoming medieval church open to visitors, with its frescoed fishermen's chapel adjacent.

This little gem of a church is beautiful inside, and the fisherman's chapel also very interesting. The views of the coast from the church are also stunning. Definately worth seeing.

A lovely walk along the bay and great history . We were staying at L'Horizon who gave good information on the church before your visit . Lovely views of the whole bay

Looking out over the beach this small church has a huge presence in St Brelade. Surrounded by a huge graveyard filled with people over the past centuries in the perfect location to rest in peace. The church itself has the most amazing stone ceiling as well as as separate fishermans chapel which itself has some really interesting paintings on the... More

Viewed from the sands bearing the same name, St Brelade's church seems ( at the far west end) to blend into the landscape. A notable part of Jersey's Christian heritage, there has been a church at this stunning location since 1035AD, although much of the exterior dates from 3 centuries later. Strong, sturdy (and windswept when we visited) it is... More

Only a small church but beautifully kept with an amazing ceiling - local stone but how on earth they constructed it is beyond me, I have a couple of theories but I'm not sure they would prove correct. The churchyard has a lot of interesting gravestones which are remarkably readable considering their age and the elements that they are exposed... More

The church is beautiful in its simplicity. It's location and surrounding grounds offers a feeling of spiritual peace and renewal. There is a strong sense of the people who lived, worked and worshipped here over the centuries, helping to provide a feeling of the continuing value of the church in the community.

Well worth a visit as this is this is a lovely church. We ended up visiting St Brelade's Bay twice during our week in Jersey and would say that's it's well worth a visit.
