Walked with friends from St Aubin to St Brelade, coming off the railway route near Waitrose. Is a beautiful walk very quiet and picturesque. The old tunnels under the road show where the railway once was. Very safe and one day will complete the journey on foot to Corbiere. Walk down the hill to St Brelade goes past many amazing... More

A great place to visit, plenty of parking on the land side (regular buses too) and a short walk out along the causeway to the lighthouse. Very occasionally the lighthouse is opened but usually only for pre-arranged groups. 100 steps up to the door! Check tides first as it's easy to get cut off by the incoming tide, although there... We risked the wind to walk the causeway to the lighthouse and we were glad we did. The views are incredible and we learnt some interesting facts about the lighthouse as well.

The lighthouse is the icing on the cake but this part of the coastline is wild and beautiful. The sea is criss-crossed with surf as the waves meet from different directions. The coastline is rocky, rugged and wild and if it is going to be windy anywhere then here is the place. As other reviews highlight - if you want... More

Visited as part of a round the Island tour. It was a very windy day so only managed to get as far down as the bunkers and gun batteries. Fascinating to see the extent of the works carried out by the Germans to protect the Island against British invasion

Approximately 30 minute journey by bus from St Helier, the views are pretty amazing, there's a decent walk from the top across the causeway, there is a warning bell which sounds to prevent you from being stranded when the tide comes in, lots of rock pools in the crevices & a memorial in stone as you walk towards the light... Not too far away from St Helier, easy to drive or even get the bus. Has parking facilities, a restaurant, toilets and some of the best views on the island. Walk out to the lighthouse itself at low tide or see it surrounded by the sea at high tide. A must visit.
