Having visited the Ecrehous before I didn’t think there was much to it! How wrong I was, on this fantastic kayaking trip Derek showed us what an amazing place it is as the tide goes out, with just a small group of 6 we were able to circumnavigate the reef visiting lots of little bays where Derek took the time to point out interesting rock formations and wildlife, whilst explaining the history of the reef as we went, the time flew by and culminated in a refreshing swim in the “Suez canal”. An amazing and unique trip, as no other tour operators are able to bring the kayaks out, I have no hesitation in recommending this trip and would happily do it again. Thanks Derek and the boat operators from Le mourner swim/sea/save.

We all thoroughly enjoyed a calm and pleasant paddle around the coast from St Catherine’s slipway round to Gorey Castle. Our tour guide Mick was incredibly calm, reassuring and informative as we paddled for over two hours off the Jersey coast. At one point my teenage daughter needed some help getting back into her kayak having hit some rocks, Mick was able to help her resume her paddle quickly and with no fuss. The sea conditions are carefully monitored by Jersey kayak adventures to ensure outings are not hampered by poor conditions and the time flew! Take plenty of sunscreen and a waterproof phone case for some spectacular photos.

Now I know what I was doing wrong! An excellent guide with a step by step approach to getting the most from my kayak and, safely. He also took time to address my young daughter's fears which was helpful and means she now wants to go out again. I would recommend without hesitation.

Fabulous after school fun on a Friday. We recently took our 10 year old son and pals on a sunset kayak tour from Archirondel beach and we all had a marvellous time. They were thoroughly entertained by Jersey Kayak Adventures and learnt a thing or two as well. It was a glorious evening and I was left wondering why we don't do this more often. Thanks Derek and Team.

We joined the walk out to the Oyster beds from the Seymour slip. Trudie was really friendly, interesting and extremely knowledgeable on the different sea weed species and other marine life. After 90 mins of learning about oyster production we returned to the Seymour pub and enjoyed some warm and cold oysters which were delicious. A great trip and thoroughly enjoyable.

The Oyster walks with our sister company Jersey Walk Adventures is a great way to discover this marine delicacy and learn a bit more about their history of harvesting in Jersey. When it comes to eating local oysters it is "food yards" not "food miles" so they are always super-fresh. I hope we'll see you again on our seabed walks or kayak tours.
