It is a bit of a climb up to the shop. I was pleased to read that you considered it worth the effort especially on a hot day! We do enjoy meeting our customers and sharing the history of the shop when time allows.

On the way back from Victor Hugo's house you pass the Victorian Shop and Parlour. As it is free is is worth popping in to see a room like a grandparent may have had or to buy old style sweets.
