Brixham harbour is beautiful - old fashioned, only one amusement arcade and lots of knick-knack shops, full of stuff you never knew you needed! There are lovely views over the bay and you can sit and watch the fishing boats in the still working fishing harbour next door.

Lots of shops along the harbour loads of places to eat or just sit and watch the world go by. Very pretty in the evenings when it's lit up very unspoilt.

A lovely harbour, stalls most days offering a variety of goods. Sally Army play on a Tues and Thurs evening. The atmosphere is lovely and friendly. We were lucky enough to have a visit from two dolphins too!

Lots of little shops and an abundance of fish& Chip shops and pubs. Lots of people crabbing off the harbour which the young children seemed to be so excited when they caught a crab

We visited Brixham Harbour on recommendation of Great Nana Berile. We had been due to holiday in North Devon in a Barn but we had been double booked and it became a search to find an alternative holiday. We ended up in Paignton, which isn't that far away from Brixham so we came to visit the Golden Hind aswell as... More

You can stroll around the harbour and see the trawlers setting sail to go off looking for the next big catch. If you are about later in the day you may be lucky and see the trawlers return and unload their catch. You can get a better view of the working harbour by standing on the viewing platform which overlooks... More

Small shingle beach by the harbour and lovely walk by the port. Excellent spot for crabbing and great cafe nearby as well as a crab fishing/nets, deck chairs and snacks hut. Public toilet facilities are available - if you're desperate.

Lovely working harbour that somehow stays relaxing even in a crazy busy bank holiday . Great for kids to go crabbing with all you need for sale at reasonable prices at the nearby shops. Only criticism would be perhaps some of the shop keepers could do with 'cheering up ' a bit ! We came across a few grumpy ones... More

Brixham harbour is a lovely place with plenty to do for families of all ages. Crabbing off the quayside or fishing of the breaker. Good food and even better good beer. Sea trips out to Dartmouth or Torquay or a trip on a stream train or boat.
