The shop was beautiful but hugely expensive. A small white ash table which was very pretty cost £4.800 and a small clay circle with a star shape cut out of the middle which was a Christmas tree decoration was £5. To be fair some of the things were lovely but we found it way out of our pockets. The cafe was... More

The food is good quality here with a choice of healthier options including the cakes, as you would expect at a top arts establishment. It is popular so the cafe may be full at times and it would be best to book a table for lunch. The atmosphere is good too. Sometimes the occasional visitor to the cafe will be... More

The Devon Guild of Craftsmen is much more than a local tourist attraction, it is full of the some of the most inventive and skillful exhibits in a variety of different media. The building is a wonderful mill conversion which provides a number of interconnected galleries. The works are well displayed and lit and contain many references to the local... More

Well worth visiting. Exhibits regularly change, most new since last year. Showcase of the best of Devon craft artists. An excellent cafe to boot so plan to arrive at lunchtime or for tea/coffee. Lots to see as a large space.

We met a friend for a coffee, obviously very popular not quite lunch time yet very busy. A real chocolate hit with one of their brownies, naughty but oh so nice. Pay and display car park at the back, not expensive either. Just across the road went for a relaxing walk along river with our dogs.

One of our favourite haunts in Devon. A showcase for Devon craftsmen and women of the highest order with a diverse range of treasures on offer. Pottery, glass, jewellery, fabric, furniture, automaton and more to delight and amaze you. There is a large exhibition space beyond the main display area and a relaxing restaurant upstairs where you can consider what... More
