We have two daughters aged three and seven, they really enjoyed the activities upstairs in the visitor centre. Dressing up and putting together the puzzle hut, It kept them occupied for half an hour! The ladies who work here were really friendly giving then Dartmoor...More

A lovely lady welcome us as we walked in. Told as about the activities upstairs for the children. Lots of advice for the area. Pay to park large car park. Free toilets. Lovely choice of gifts to suit any budget. Definitely worth a visit.

Along with the range of maps and gifts, there is a Bronze Age exhibition upstairs. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. There are Public Toilets attached. Free car parking but donations support the running costs

Useful oasis but with no in house cafe facilities but with toilets and large car park Little country post office a few meters away with very basic take away food and drink Great walk
