Absolutely gorgeous property, with very pleasant guides in each room with plenty of knowledge. Lovely shop and cafe on site too. Have visited several NT properties, but would have to say this is the loveliest so far in my opinion!

Lovely trip here, albeit, the place is very small. The house is interesting, and the grounds fairly compact. The coffee shop is expensive, and service was slow. Good selection of cakes although Gluten Free products had sold out.

Owned by the national trust, this 16 sided house has some good looking architecture and from the outside is a great looking large house. Well signed on the main road from Exeter to Exmouth road. Cafe onsite

A National Trust property each room has a volunteer in to give you as much information as you could want, there is also written information available. It's smaller than you imagine and the shell gallery is currently being refurbished so you can't see it. Interesting...More

I an not an expert on these issues. Some parts are quite level and could be accessible, but much is lawned and could prove trickier.

Yes thy are, just not in the house. They are allowed in grounds and one room of the cafe. They have dog bowls around the place, biscuits and pop bags.
