We holiday in Devon at least 4 times a year and the same old attractions were getting a little dull so I was desperate to find something new, interesting and enjoyable for the adults and the children. Nigel didn't disappoint, my girls (9 & 4) absolutely loved flying Cassius and my husband who is notoriously hard to please also really... More

Kids usually enjoy getting close to the hawks, there's a combination of cuteness and wildness that they find particularly appealing. The price is deliberately aimed at being attractive to families, although I suppose I shall have to increase it at some stage. Hopefully not until you've come out with us again! Regards More

We went out on a perfect autumn day with Nigel and the hawks. It has to be one of the best days I've had this year. Fantastic location, beautiful birds and a brilliant falconer. Can't wait for the next session. I couldn't recommend Nigel highly enough. Thank you ! 😊

Thank you for your review. I agree about the location, I have access to some beautiful land. The birds are beautiful, and I'm glad you enjoyed your time with them. Not so sure about my falconry skills, I've only been doing it for about twelve years, and I still feel I have a lot to learn! Come back and see... More

I booked this as a surprise for my wife as part of our anniversary weekend. I was a bit worried she'd be nervous around the hawks but I needn't have worried. Nigel is a real professional and Cassius, the Harris Hawk he brought along, was very well mannered, graceful and utterly charming! The hour flew by (excuse the pun). The... More

Thank you for your review. I know what you mean about time flying by when out with the hawks. We often overrun because everyone is enjoying themselves and the hawks are performing well. Chassis has introduced several hundred people to falconry over the years. He is a real star and makes it easy for them to get right up close.... More

We met up with Nigel and his male Hawk, Cassius. Both were very tolerant of our three boys (8, 5 and 3) and a nervous Mummy! Nigel's knowledge and manner was excellent, he spoke passionately about the birds and encouraged all of us to have a go. It was great to be able to handle the birds ourselves, feed them... More

I'm glad you all enjoyed it and had a go, including nervous Mummy and small one. Cassius is not prejudiced, he'll go to whoever has the food. Nice meeting you all and I hope you come again. Regards, More

We were excited about handling the hawk and we were not disappointed. The day was much more than that. Nigel explained and demonstrated his beautiful birds' behavior and traits whilst we walked across the Devonshire fields. Lady Macbeth had an unplanned hunt for a deer in the hedge row.

To be fair, I don't think she was actually chasing the deer. She went after the pheasant into the wood and when I found her she was sitting on a low branch looking at the deer which was about twenty feet away. However, she was looking at it in a calculating sort of way and who knows what goes through... More

Booked a walk for a present and what a great time we had, Nigel really knew his stuff and made the day very interesting we went around the lake and woods with the hawk flying to our hands for food. What a great day and we would recommend the day to everyone.

Glad you enjoyed it. I'm lucky having access to 700 acres of wooland, meadows etc. It certainly gives the hawks room to spread their wings and show us what they are capable of. If you know someone else who may enjoy it, now is the time to invest in a gift voucher for Christmas ! All the best, More

My partner received a voucher for a Hawk Walk for 4 people as a Christmas present. We took his parents earlier this week and spent an hour and a half with Nigel and Cassius. We all loved it! Cassius is a beautiful creature, fascinating to watch and handle and Nigel is very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his birds and... More

Thank you for your comments. Cassius is lovely and, for a hawk, has a very biddable nature. At the moment he seems to be specialising in catching mice. I'm going to spend a little time re-educating him about pheasants and what he's meant to do about them. You may want to consider a Christmas gift voucher if there is someone... More

My Canadian Cousin was over and I wanted to take the family for a memorable day out, I asked Nigel if it would be possible for my dad to have a few minutes holding the birds from his wheelchair, having recently suffered a stroke and this was our first family day out since. Nigel led us to a pretty countryside... More

Thank you for your comments, I'm glad your Dad got so much out of it. Concentrating on the hawk flying and observing her on your fist certainly takes you out of yourself. The rarity value of it all, plus the sheer beauty and skill of the bird makes it unique and it's nice that this effect was felt by everyone,... More

Nigel was friendly, patient, easy going and has made this very complex activity into a simple thing, an art even. We all enjoyed it very much. It was the highlight of our holiday in Exmoor. Worth every penny and more. My sons still talked about it after we came back from Exmoor. One thing though, please pack Wellington boots if... More

Do you know, I think you're right,? Falconry is more of an art than a science. It's certainly something that never loses its appeal. Come and visit the birds again, maybe to hunt pheasants with them. Regards More
