A unique opportunity to see wild badgers who come very close to you on their own terms. Walk through beautiful scenery and woodland to a purpose-built hide overlooking the natural sett where you can sit comfortably to observe these fascinating wild creatures. A magical experience.

We booked a photography session and had a truly wonderful experience. The badgers come so close and although photography was more challenging as the evening progressed and the light faded you can still get some great shots. Remember also to put the camera down for a while and just watch these amazing creatures as they forage for food right in... More

This was our third visit to Devon Badger watch. This time there were 12 of us. We had bought vouchers for xmas for friends and we were cashing them in. (Yes you can buy vouchers for people). The group included six adults a 7 year-old two 11-year-olds and three teenagers. Within the group we also had someone with mobility issues... More

I have wanted to see badgers in the wild for a long time and I wasn't disappointed. 90 minutes watching badgers close up & learning so much from our informed host. A very special experience that everyone should do when in the area. We won't forget ours for a long time!!

Very accessible wildlife, excellent prolonged views of Badgers. Our children (10 and 8) really enjoyed it (and were much quieter than some of the adults). I would recommend this to anybody with an interest in wildlife.

A badger watch is something I have always wished to partake in and this evening, very much came up to my expectations. It was relaxed and low key. Ann, the owner of the farm, took us down to the set. She explained how we should behave, so close to wild and shy animals, such as badgers. We were delighted to... More

We had seen badgers years ago, in the New Forest, so when we saw the Devon Badger watch brochure we were there! The badgers are totally wild, living on a farm in Devon and the owners have built a hide just above the sett. The farm is in the middle of countryside, but detailed directions (only given once you've booked,... More

Loved every minute of this trip. Booked the photography evening. Hide well equiped and comfortable. Nothing between the camera and the badgers. Even managed to spot a tiny Wood Mouse buzzing around. Host knowledgeable and patient. Badgers looked happy and healthy.

This was an absolutely amazing experience which we would recommend to everyone who loves wildlife. Kevin's commentary throughout was extremely interesting, and gave a real insight into the lives of the badger clan. We saw 6 badgers, including 2 cubs, as well as wood mice, all so close it was almost as though we were right amongst them. We will... More
