Nice clean beach, great for kids. We stayed at woolacombe bay holiday village and got the site bus down but I noticed a few car parks for about £5 per day

Beautiful beach, so much sand and space. Parking nearby is £5 all day or £3 after 1pm. On road parking limited

We went in September so we weren't going to get in the sea, but plenty of other people did. Its a massive, beautiful, sandy, litter-free beach which has a side that allows dogs on. It wasn't over crowded and was a lovely little walk.

I have been visiting this beach for 50 years and it never changes. Beautiful beach, great surf, plenty of lifeguards. Cafes, surf shops and toilets etc. in abundance.

What's not to like? A vast expanse of smooth clean sand, perfectly flat - a great way to gently walk the last few miles of our five day adventure walking the 75 miles of the SWCP from Bude to Woolacombe.

This beach took my breath away even as we were descending into Woolacome in our car. It is very spacious and clean and we enjoyed our walk listening to the waves and watching the surfers. If you are in Devon, make sure not to miss...More

Wonderful beach, clean and close to the town so you can wander up and get supplies. Car parking isn't too expensive and close to the beach. Dog friendly in some parts.

Wonderful huge sandy beach. Dog friendly section. Not too commercialised. Lots of rock pools to explore

Even on a rainy, cool day it's a cracker. Would love to return one day in the sun! Nice sandy beach, well looked after and good facilities.

Woolacombe is a big, open beach, lovely for an easy walk. However it is a sand beach so maybe not easy for all elderly and/or disabled. Both this and Croyde have very close car parks but wouldn't take a wheelchair to either... More
