Unfortunately not enough time to take the tour but the wine store is amazing. The staff are very knowledgeable and super friendly but never pushy. Amazing choices - and local gins! Well worth the visit,

Brilliant place - great to see the real way to brew beer - shame we had difficulty hearing the guy who showed us around. But great 2 hour tour and then a free tankard and a couple of pints of their beers free or a soft drink. Very interesting.

I can't deny it, I was surprised at how interesting this tour was. This is entirely due to our lovely 'Tuesday Guy tour guide' (sorry I didn't catch his name). After history and chemistry lessons which took our group around the whole of brewery. Back in the Palmers shop we were treated to a commemorative half pint tankard with as... More

We started the tour off by arriving late due to traffic, and they we very sweet about helping us catch up! Our tour guide clearly loves what he does and was so knowledgeable. This was not my first brewery tour, but the detail he went into about both the new and old machinery and how/when they have updated parts left... More

Visited today with teenage son and parents. Really good guide, even with a big group, who kept everybody interested from ardent real ale people to novices like my teenager, who loved the atmosphere and the chemistry. Parents loved it too and found the guide easy to understand despite English not being their first language. We just dropped in by chance,... More

I was late due to traffic but staff took me through anyway to catch up, letting me pay at the end. Lovely old brewery still making beer using traditional methods and equipment. Friendly work force, informed tour guide full of pride for this family business. Product tasting at the end (including soft drinks) but no pressure to buy unlike others... More
