Hugely popular in Summer I guess. We turned up early afternoon one day to be told there was a 2 hour wait to cross the bridge & decided to try again the next day. We got there at 9.15am (scheduled opening 9.30). There were maybe...More

We got there pretty early (9:00 am at the ticket booth) and there already seemed to be a bit of a crowd forming. Once on the track it was an easy stroll out to the bridge itself where we were able to go pretty much...More

It's a nice walk to the bridge, and good views and exciting for most crossing the bridge. Teenagers a bit disappointed that the bridge was too tame, and oldies concerned that it was a long walk, so beware of that. Otherwise well worth it.

I'm not scared of heights, but I found this a bit scary. I decided I wasn't going to look down whilst crossing, and this certainly helped. My husband decided otherwise, and had a bit of a panic lol. He quickly composed himself and moved on...More

This is a great place to stop off on the northern coast. They use a system of specifically timed tickets so don't turn up and expect to cross the bridge straight away, but you can walk over and admire the gorgeous views. The bridge is...More

Stopped by with the family to explore this site a bit. We must have been there between busses as there was no wait to get out across the bridge. I enjoyed all the birds and the views down the coast. The staff were friendly and...More

I must say that to cross the bridge you need to be brave :) It was quite windy but stable on the bridge. It has decking along but the ropes are wobbly. I would recommend runners or other suitable shoes rather than flip flops or...More

This was fantastic! Bring the good sensible shoes for this one. The scenery is amazing, just beautiful. For those of us who were a little unfit, the walk to and from the bridge was a little strenuous but boy was it worth it! We all...More

There is no time limit, although they do control how many people go across the bridge at a time. When we were there part of the island was closed off because of the nesting birds, and there has been some erosion. It is more... More
