My son and I stumbled upon this museum whilst driving around. It is a little pricey to go in but what a wonderful surprise that you get. I saw the car that I passed my driving test in in 1961, a Wolseley 1500 and just in front of it is the first car that I bought a Ford Zephyr. Not... More

Wanted to visit here for a long time and finally did it yesterday - well worth it ! A great collection of cars, vans, trucks, motorbikes and bicycles spanning 100 years. Don't go expecting perfectly restored cars and shiny glass cabinets, it's not that kind of place. This is for people who really enjoy getting up close and personal with... More

I've always loved old motor cars and related items so we couldn't resist popping in here. Best £7 I've spent and thoroughly enjoyed it. The amount of stuff in this place is fantastic even down to a collection of Oil Cans and Spark Plugs but its the cars and Bikes that steal the show. Just go and visit you wont... More

What a fab wee private collection of cars, bikes, toys, bicycles and motoring memorabilia! Lovely lady willing to chat about exhibits and anything else! No particular order of vehicles just randomly parked within a range of rooms. Was great being left to wander among the vehicles and read all the wee bits of history attached to them. A great place... Was surprised at how many cars and bikes they had. Admission is a little pricey but a lot to see. Old cars from early 1900 s to 1970s. Upstairs are many signs and old oil n gas cans. A trip down memory lane.

It had been around 15 years since I'd last visited Myreton. As the friendly and chatty lady who saw us in said, I doubt much has changed. That's not necessarily a bad thing really, there's a real charm to the place. The cars and motorcycles are crammed into a variety of shed-rooms, with no discernible connection or flow, but that... I enjoyed my visit here. not the biggest museum and a bit out of the way. still, plenty of cars to see, a good range, and variety, some more recent which was good as it brought back memories. One negative, the admission is very expensive at seven pounds, i am not sure i would have gone in if had been sunny... More

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your visit to Myreton despite feeling that it was expensive. Myreton is a private collection that receives no Government or any other outside funding unlike those attractions that come under the banner of National Museums Scotland. We are keen to preserve the collection for future generations and there is obviously a cost involved... More

This a small museum but well worth a visit. The vehicles are in excellent condition and each one has an interesting information sheet on it. We had a most friendly welcome and can thoroughly recommend the museum to car and history enthusiasts!
