I love red Anster cheese and it is good to buy it from the producer. They have a good selection of artisan cheeses for sale. Very nice place to drop in for a lunch or coffee, great home baking. Plenty parking.

We visited for a quick lunch on our way to Kellie Castle. Order soup and scones which took 30 mins to arrive even though it was not busy. Quality was OK. Another 15 min wait for coffee. Not impressed.

We sought this place out as a result of cheese on the cheeseboard of our hotel. The cheese s lovely and award winning. Whils we were there cheeses weren't being made but we were able to look at the photographs/texts of the stages of the process. The food in the restaurant was lovely and well presented although the service seemed... More

I came here a couple of times before when I was visiting St Andrews, Kilconquhar and other areas in Fife. Today I had lunch here and it was excellent. But there's not just that, there's even a viewing gallery where you can see the cheese being made and that's highly recommended too!

We waited approx 10 minutes before anyone decided to serve us, even then we had to ask. We were eventually given our hot drinks but continued to wait for food. Others had entered after us, placed their orders, been served hot food and had finished eating! We were still waiting for scones and a cheese platter! How long can that... More
