Fantastic hidden gem! Stumbled across this looking for something to do on a wet and windy day. Credit to the friends of portencross for the refurbishment, and the tour. Will definitely be back.

We love this place. The views across to Arran and up the Clyde are fabulous and the history of the place is astonishing. Great place for children to learn about the history of Scotland. Fun displays and videos to keep their attention.
