Beautiful beach of white sand. Uncrowded and unspoilt. Really lovely spot to visit. Nothing else to say - just go!

Fantastic time walking along this beach and then up on to grass to walk along the headland. Glorious and good for the soul!

Great walking here; a stunning beach with lots of interesting sand dunes surrounding it. We saw several interesting sea birds, seals and an otter. You can walk up to the MOD site - interesting when there is a naval exercise on. Great walks. An interesting abandoned church with good history. Parking a little limited. Golf club nearby sometimes has parking... More

There are no facilities but a great sandy beach to walk on. Great sand dunes full of rabbit holes. Walk along to Farraid Head to explore. Great for adults and children to explore. If you are lucky you will get to see some dolphins or puffins. Then head up to the Cocoa Mountain Cafe for a hot chocolate.

This place is lovely. The stretch of the beach is very walkable. You can often see the dolphins dancing at sunset. There is a small island with a dip in it that was and I think still used by the army (the building is no the dunes at the end of the beach)to test bombs and is why there is... More

Start from the end of the road at Balnakeil and walk out across the beach. Then follow the mod road through the sand dunes to Farraid Head. Lovely views out to sea and back across the beautiful beach.

we visited on a lovely sunny October day and walked the length of the beach and followed the path at the other side to discover sand dunes, hidden coves and beaches, it was so picturesque and interesting, take your cameras and binoculars and a picnic and you are sure to enjoy it,

Long sandy beach, small car park adjacent ruined church with some interesting graves. Lots of birds flying around the rocks.

We walked across the beach heading out to Faraid Head (not sure of the spelling). Great beach, fab walk if a little blustery and sandy at times but well worth it for the views.

This is by far the best beach we have went to the sand dunes were like the dessert. Truly amazing and definitely worth going to see. Our dog's loved the long runs along the beach and the clear blue sea's will definitely be back.
