It had just rained heavily so the waterfall was amazing. Unfortunately the tour was cancelled for the same reason. Well worth the walk down the steps.

This is a lovely cave to visit, its not huge and you need to be ok with steps to get to it as you need to walk down the path from the free carpark. We went on a Sunday just after the season finished so...More

It was so windy the day we were there, but the cave is protected. It has a huge opening and a mighty waterfall. Due to the wind, we couldn't take the boat ride into the inner room but that was fine. We were treated to...More

Arrived in Furness about 2ish on Saturday 30 September. Went to attraction as said Tours until 4pm up to end of September! However, the place was all closed so missed out on £10. I do not think I will be recommending the attraction.

We were spellbound by this cave and spent quite some time exploring. The sounds, the spray, the setting - all amazing.

Lovely natural phenomenon, would be a shame to miss it if you're in the area. Parking and facilities provided.

Visited everything on the NC500 route with a brown tourist sign. This was definitely one of the best attractions to visit and easy to miss if not careful. Stop and make sure you visit this site, truly an amazing waterfall.

The steps are quite manageable, just take your time. You do not have to go on the boat ride to see the waterfall, it's just along a small passageway from the main cave.

Dogs are allowed into the cave (carry your poo bags please) but not on the boat as it an inflatable.
