We went here twice - once to take the boat trip further into the cave and once after it had been raining overnight to see the very full waterfall effect. I would very much recommend taking the boat trip (£5 each) to see the inner...More

Interesting to see but limited - because of bad weather we could not go in very far. Pleasant wals in the surrounding area including the John Lennon memorial garden. Apparently he was a regular visitor on holiday as a child

Worth a look if you are passing. Free for the first chamber and you can pay £5 each to go into the other chambers.

The caves are fairly easily accessible from the car park via a short cliff path down to the beach. The main chamber is impressively large and the footpaths and bridge make for a pleasant walk. A large number of stacked, "fun-size" stone sculptures were arranged...More

I visited this cave in the 1980s when you scrambled down a footpath to get to it, so was surprised to discover that the walk down has been boarded and there is a little hut at the entrance, presumably to keep the water off the...More

The steps are quite manageable, just take your time. You do not have to go on the boat ride to see the waterfall, it's just along a small passageway from the main cave.
