Staff seemed unable to explain various trail options. I asked which better--doing loop trail clockwise or counter-clockwise. They said didn't matter. WELL... IT DID matter! Signs explaining what you're seeing and "which way to go" on trail only set-up for clockwise direction. Resulted in me...More

We enjoyed visiting the park. They have a trail that runs by the water. Wear comfortable shoes to walk in. They have places to have a picnic. There is a bathroom facility to use.

The Old Stone Fort is a beautiful place to walk through even if you are not interested in the history. The tour is self-guided and the park staff are ready to answer any of your questions.
