Followed a wee winding path along the river till this paradise opened in front of us. it just keeps on giving, such an unexpected gem hidden away. great afternoon visit for families and small children. Loved this so much. x

Nice place to go, especially for children. Fort Augustus is a very pretty little village near Loch Ness. We had to go here as huge animal lovers. Very reasonable entry fees, easy to find, you park down the road a bit in a huge carpark....More

After much searching for this place we stopped in by the tourist information centre to get directions and we were told that the owners had just retired and the farm was closed 😔

Though very simple in nature, I truly enjoyed the walk through the Rare Breeds & Children's Farm with a variety of native farm animals. The entire experience takes about 30 minutes, and children will find it a treat! They will especially love the Highland cows...More

Wow, I love this place. The animals are so cute and tame. Maggie, the pig, is hilarious - she is always asleep! And always snoring! She sounds like a Boeing 747 taking off!!!! Also, the goats are great - they even have a trampoline. LOL....More
