A steep walk up and down but not too far and the two viewpoints both worth a visit. Excellent walk round the woodlands further down the valley well worth doing, but wherever you go there is a climb back up to the top!

Highly recommend the steps to see this. The upper view was good but walking down to the lower view provided a spectacular sight of nature at its best. Highly recommended.

Nice walk through a woodland path and the falls are lovely but a bit of a climb back up stair so be prepared with good footwear.

Pretty falls, worth walking down to the bottom as you will see other perspectives beyond the easy view from the first viewing point.

With so many great attarcyations in Scotland I'm surprised this is rated so highly. It will take you 30-40 mins for the return walk.

We walked the route from the carpark to the banks of loch ness - four adults, a 4 year old and a just-turned-2 year old. The paths were really well maintained and barriers were up to prevent dangerous cliff falls (although as a parent you...More

Stunning scenery and spectacular falls with woodland walks. Steep steps and uneven ground make it unsuitable for wheelchair users unfortunately, there's 2 viewing points to witness this marvel of nature and grab the obligatory photos that never seem to do the falls justice. After seeing...More

We were staying close by and went to the falls on our way home. Its several hundred steps down (and up) so be prepared. When you get to the first viewing point its lovely, but go the extra mile (not really a mile) and walk...More

Just over 30 minutes depending on traffic, the road gets narrow in places and you have to stop at 'passing places' but it's a lovely drive down that side of the Loch and you get a nice view of Urquhart Castle

Parking was pretty plentiful. We were there in September and there was ample parking. Can't recall charge which means it wasn't expensive! Yes it's a circular walk- there and back again. I'd allow at least an hour... More
