This was our second visit to this wee hidden gem. Last year we went for a tasting session which I had given my partner and brother for Christmas. It was an excellent experience which included a wee tour, quite a few samples and some stovies. We went back again this week. The staff are welcoming and professional. The clientele is... More

I received a beer-making tour of the Allenwater Brewhouse as a gift. I spent a wonderful afternoon learning the art of brewing, information about cask ales, bottling, and kegging. We tasted the current offering of eight cask ales and four in-house ciders. The cask ales and ciders are outstanding! I recommend a visit to any who enjoy ale, beer, or... More

This place is cool. Hip, different. So many great craft beers to choose from. Great quirky interior. If you love beer you'll enjoy this place. If you don't you'll still love it.

Hidden behind the main street in the Bridge of Allan this is this unique, friendly traditional pub with tons of character. It produces a large number of its own beers and cider which are hand pumped from wooden casks. First timers might benefit from the tasters selection which allows for the sampling of many of the brews available. The cavernous... More

Definitely worth a visit, first time in it but would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area. Not usually a beer drinker but had a go

I'm sure if the place had been full it would have had a great atmosphere. Lovely beer, says my husband! Friendly staff.

The atmosphere is great, the staff and service are and is great. You'll always find something on tap that you'll like. There are some cool live music acts that play there regularly. Happy customer

Very unique brew house. They have quite a few brews on tap and you are able to purchased bottles to go. We stopped in ahead of the crowds that usually fill the place. They had a wood fire going and it was quite a cozy atmosphere. It looks like they have different activities throughout the week...live music, trivia nights...etc.
