Ardbeg 10 yr. has been my favorite single malt for years, and a visit to the distillery did not disappoint. We did not take the tour, having already done three others (they get repetitive after the second) and got the table tasting instead. It is a great bargain; you get a healthy pour of five different expressions, most of which... More

Bought four bottles of great Scotch. We had lunch there and the food was great. The kelpie scotch is wonderful.

What a fabulous distillery.Everything is well presented and the cafe serves excellent food. Our group had the £20 tour which was informative and very much enjoyed. Do pre- book though. There are great photo opportunities here.

When you visit Ardbeg make sure to eat in their cafe. I had the best incarnation of haggis on my entire Scotland adventure there, and the most phenomenal celery and bacon soup. The distillery tour was pretty standard for a tour through a distillery but the tour guide gave interesting facts about the community that created Ardbeg and its history.... More

This is a very nice distillery with a cafe and a small gift shop. If you want to do a tour, make sure you book ahead of time. They don't have as many tours as some of the other distilleries, and we weren't able to get into a tour the day of. Instead, my husband had a taster, which was... More

I've waited years to visit Ardbeg, the home of my favourite dram and it was worth the wait. Treated to a rare May heatwave by Islay standards arriving at the site bathed in sunshine was a treat, the place is immaculate and located in a stunning coastal spot in the South of Islay. Our group were booked in for a... More

We were warmly greeted when entering the Ardbeg distillery after a long days walking. The man at the till was nice and gave us a complimentary whisky. The woman, who might've been the manager (?) was absolutely fantastic and told us about a perfect spot to camp. Thanks!

Only visited the restaurant and shop, and stopped for coffee. Fabulous building inside and out. Worth the visit even if you are not booked on a tour. Coffee was great too.

I've been in Ardbeg many many times and I've never been disappointed. Actually, I'm more and more amazed every time. The visit is fantastic, and the tastings are full of surprises because there are always 2 special releases to try on top of Ardbeg's classic range. The visitor's center is by far the best place to have lunch. One can... More
