Lovely work

Pretty pottery but was a bit out of our price range. Has some lovely pieces that would appeal to those looking for a special item to take home.

Visited while staying in Edinbane, although shop was lovely it was too pricey for us and kids were a bit disappointed that there was nothing for them to buy. I know not really meant for children but feel that there could be a market missed there with pocket money pieces!

If you appreciate the craft of pottery, you won't be disappointed by Edinbane. The potter here can throw and decorate pots to a very high standard. I could have spent hundreds of pounds and I'm sure some people do, as most pieces are both good to look at and highly usable. Worth a detour.

According to family and friends I have a pottery addiction. The pieces are beautiful and the glazing is different from what I've seen elsewhere. But, the pieces are expensive vs what I can find in the US and I could not justify a purchase. I did enjoy looking at all of the pieces though. I found the people working in... More

Small pottery with some lovely pieces although they are a little expensive. Having said that we have visited a few small independant potteries around the country and they are competetive with others. Staff keep themselves to themselves until you need them but are then friendly and helpful (makes a nice change from being bothered continually with "are you OK there"... More

I'm staying in Edinbane and love pottery, we dropped the girls off for a pony trek and headed back to browse the shop until it was time to collect them. The two women in the shop did not even acknowledge our presence and the pottery while beautiful is so expensive. I would rather buy cheaper pottery from Uig where the... More

Lovely visit to the shop, my daughters were transfixed with the potters wheel and the lovely lady behind the till invited them to come and have a closer look and gave them a quick tutorial. Very lovely pieces, didn't find exactly what we were looking for but the lady offered to commission a piece and deliver it to us.

This is a very small shop. One potter was working but was sitting far back and you couldn't see his work very well. No one even spoke to us the whole time we walked around looking at the work. Not impressed and didn't spend any money there.

I absolutely love the delicate art of pottery, but sometimes get board with same designs and colours. Yes, Edinblane has the staples, but they also incorporate unique designs. Was very excited to find a few pieces to take home as a lasting memory.
