Braemar Golf Course is the highest 18 hole golf course in Scotland at around 1,200 feet above sea level.The greens are amongst the finest in the area and the course is very popular with holiday makers and golfing societies.The course is relatively short, measuring 4,935 off the medal tees, but it will test golfers of any standard.

Lovely course to play and the food is good too. Surrounding countryside beautiful. Large car park. Nice restaurant and pleasant shop.

Stuck for a place to eat and happened upon Braemar Golf Club. Restaurant average, food average, service ok. Meals were basic and more clubhouse atmosphere rather than comfortable restaurant.

Recommended by the b&b owner we had dinner here. It was a ten minute walk along the river from the town. Not busy but the food was nice. Staff friendly. Nice view over the course.
