SO much to see

Beautiful and fascinating interior; lovely gardens. If a large party is going round; walk outside for a few minutes and come back when a bit quieter.

Accidentally drove into this place and around the grounds The house was closed for winter but the grounds were lovely for a walk and our toddler loves exploring some of the gardens. The 'wee garden' in particular was excellent and the house is beautiful, from the outside

A fabulous and opulent Gothic Revival country house in the grand style with a superb white marble chapel and fantastic interiors. Added to this the staff are proud of the beautiful home they care for and have endless enthusiasm when it comes to helping visitors make the most out of their visit. 300 acre garden leading down towards the Firth... Even if you think you've seen enough stately homes, this one is well worth a prolonged visit. The grounds are expansive & the tea room/shop very good.

This house is well worth a visit, the interior is amazing with marble columns and stained glass windows depicting the signs of zodiacs around the roof. The steps leading to the upstairs are also all marble where the bedrooms and bathrooms are. The are also very impressive.

Recommended by friends and was not disappointed in this remarkable outstanding prestegious historic building formerly residence of the Royal Stewarts. The imported marble throughout, the decadence and attention to detail, well worth visting.

Spectacular gothic building within magnificent grounds. Architecture is simply outstanding, particularly the chapel. The stained glass windows, with the zodiac signs are breathtaking. The grand house is a 10/15 minute meander from the car park however there is a minibus available at no extra cost. Give yourself at least half a day to explore this wonderful find.
