Small but cosy cinema. Really enjoy visiting this cinema. Seats are really comfy and the whole place is kept spotlessly clean by friendly and welcoming staff. Good little snack and sweet shop which is reasonably priced, as is the price for entry to the cinema itself. A fraction of the cost of cinemas on the mainland. It may be small... More

The Information centre is lovely inside, though You would expect it to look Victorian inside as well as Outside that's not the case. The Outside could do with a bit of a clean and a fresh coat of paint, such a lovely building but in need of maintenance, the gardens and the putting greens are lovely.

Every time we visit Rothesay we pop into the discovery centre at the winter gardens, kids love to explore there and fantastic info on the history about the isle of Bute. Somewhere to take a seat & a cup of tea especially if the weather isn't so good. You won't be disappointed .

A very interesting building. The interior is well maintained and contains a really good insight to Rothesay's entertainment past. There are also displays with regard to Rothesay and it's historical role as a seaside destination. Staff are particularly helpful and professional. Lots of information available with regard to the Island of Bute for free that visitors can take away. Nice... More

The old building is quite interesting. Contains a shop full of Scottish souvenirs/trinkets. A good place to get information on Rothesay. Exhibitions on Rothesay's past. A nice old postbox near to the entrance too.
