Despite getting the last twin room which was small but very cosy! Bedlinen was of very good quality, staff very welcoming, breakfast very good. It would have been lovely to have experienced using the balcony bar area but weather too wet!!! Perhaps another time!

We have really enjoyed our stay at Howard's Way - the staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. There were lots of things to eat - perfect for a pregnant woman and her hungry spouse! The room we had was the main sea view double and it was immaculate. The view was stunning and we enjoyed walking out onto... More

Enjoyed afternoon drink in the sunshine looking out over the water. One of the few places you can have a beer and sit outside on the front and enjoy the view. Bar had seating area inside and were showing the rugby when we were there. Staff really friendly.

Excellent food and service . Great atmosphere . Really enjoy the steak as it is cooked to my taste. Good portions (more than I can eat) lol. Price has increased but still great value for money

Strolled off the street for a drink on a quiet Sunday evening just as the sun was going down. Indoors was exceptionally hot, the staff didn't look pleased to see us and service was a bit rude and mumbly. We took our drinks outside though and enjoyed the fantastic views on one of the the few terraces available in Rothesay... More

the view from the terrace is lovely and a must on a sunny evening. Staff are very friendly. We only ever sit outside to get the views so cannot comment on inside.

We called for lunch at Howards Way whilst staying on the island. Owner could not have been more helpful, food was lovely, drinks reasonable..... but most of all the whole place was spotlessly clean. Really enjoyed our experience, and, should we return, would stay there for bed and breakfast.
