This is a great place to take the kids. All ages will enjoy the natural environments for the animals. The seals have a daily show. There is a tram to ride if you don't feel like walking a lot.

We visited while on vacation from Illinois. Half off the admission price with our membership from our local zoo. The pandas were adorable. Snakes were very active in the snake house. There is a white tiger which is very majestic. Kids had a great time.

Memphis Zoo is first class. The exhibits are great and you have mostly good viewing of the beasts. On my last visit, I did not get to see the new baby orangutan. Apparently it's mother did not get along with the other female that was out. Why does this always happen to me? The animals of the night building smells... More

Memphis Zoo is well-kept, clean, and fresh with many interesting animals in man-made natural looking backdrops. The animals are healthy and well-fed. My wife and I took our 11 year old grandaughter and a friend just two weeks ago and had a wonderful time. E walked for three hours and were worn out at the end of our outing. Plenty... More

I took a group of about 23 female teenagers. We purchased advance tickets a day before our visit. We enjoyed walking around the zoo stopping at the stations for candy, the hayride, maze, and other rides. We paid the additional fee to touch the stingrays. This was a fun evening, holiday outing. Parking and traffic was crazy!

My daughter loves animals and seeing these creatures close up spark her in so many ways. We had a great time at the zoo. Some of the enclosures were clearly too small but overall all the animals seemed well cared for and we active. The zoo was clean, easy to get to, and simple parking. Sadly we can't give 5... More

What a magical place--with seldom seen animals and a panda exhibit that will melt your heart. A relaxing 3 hour stroll through the animal world that will soothe the soul. This is a world class zoo--a must see when in Memphis.
