Every couple of years I make a pilgrimage to Beale Street and this is usually my first stop. They have great talent performing on the stage and a solid beverage selection. Only disappointment this round was the food. Steaks were not up to par as they were in the past. The bone-in ribeye was half bone and fat. I know... More

Stand in line, order a rack or two of the wet baby back ribs, wait just a bit, eat 'em up, lick your fingers, check another one off the bucket list. Great ribs for a "tourist" style eatery, but worth the trip.

Oh My Gosh!!!!!! The Seafood Gumbo Fries are delicious and amazing. The service was excellent. Beale street was very busy the restaurant was very busy but somehow we were still treated as though we were the number one priority. The spicy tamales were also seasoned to perfection. Shontey was our waitress and she had the most amazing service and personality;... More

We stopped in for lunch and the place was hopping. We got a table right away and placed our order. The special was "the best meal on Beale" Deep fried catfish, rack of "fall off the bone" ribs, baby roasted potatoes, coleslaw and bbq beans. All this for $19.95! It was more than enough for both of us. Excellent food and great service.

The gumbo and fries are great, but the service was less than stellar. Maybe they are under staffed, but we were basically ignored by our server and one of the hostesses was sarcastic and rude.
