The Peabody Hotel came highly recommended, so I had to see for myself. The hotel is beautiful, friendly staff and amazing history. The best part was watching the ducks walk down the red carpet to the fountain...the best!

My 8 year old said: this is stupid. The duck master with the fancy red jacket was kind of snobby to people who were shuffling in the lobby while he made his big speech. Not worth it to go early and try to get a view of the "parade." I get that it's local history. If we weren't staying at... More

Visited here to see the ducks come down the lift at 11 o'clock, you need to get there by 10.30 we went for a coffee before it started in the lounge which was reasonable, when you get there you need to go by the lifts or sit near the fountain people come in and start to stand in front of... More

This is a must-see hotel. Even you if you stop in to see the annual "march of the ducks" at 11am and 5pm local time, grab a drink in the lobby and enjoy the show. The rooms are historic and are furnished with ornate pieces to give it a antique flare. However I thought the carpeting definitely needed to be... More

Beautiful old hotel in the heart of downtown. They don't make em like this anymore. Service always at the ready and were so accommodating. Even gave me a room upgrade for my 40th birthday as well as some free gifts and chocolates! I guess my only downfall which is not really the hotel were the cocktails made in the Lobby... More

I have been staying at the Peabody since the 80's and hosted my wedding there in 2007. My wife and I have a great appreciation for the Peabody, but this trip, we had a few issues which made for an unenjoyable experience. We arrived with a late check-in and posted a do not disturb notice on our door. Housekeeping began... More

Such a beautiful hotel with lots of fancy character. The ducks are super cute and a big hit with the kiddos. Great location to see the sights In and around downtown Memphis. The service was great - straight up Southern Hospitality!

The Peabody ducks are the attraction at the hotel for sure. We saw them come into the fountain and go out of the fountain. It was crowded and a bit hard to see but a lot of fun. The Peabody it self is a very old hotel and really interesting. A must see if you are in Memphis.

When in Memphis there are few places you can go that are classier than the Peabody Hotel. From housekeeping to the helpful staff, no detail is over looked. If nothing else stop by, see the ducks and the beautiful Christmas decor.
