Went to Memphis for a football game and that night decided to see what the fuss of Beale street was. First of all after 10:00 pm on weekends you need to pay $5 each just to walk the streets. There are police at every turn...More

Seems to have a different personality every time I go there. Lots of great food options. Bar scene varies from place to place, but usually you can find something for everyone's liking.

I loved the ambiance. It's a funny place, I liked the musical mix. The street is full of music all over. I really had fun there!

We just wandered up and down and took it all in. Great vibe! Can hear a lot of the music from the street so that was pretty cool. Worth a visit.

We were there fairly early Saturday morning so not a lot of people around. I scan only imagine how busy it gets in the evenings. It was still interesting to walk the four blocks or do of Beale Street

At night on weekends it's crowded but cool to see all the lights. Tons of music playing at once so that's annoying. The smells are pretty bad in areas. But it's worth a visit.
