What a great tour. We weren't impressed with Memphis and decided to leave the location early, we were only here for the day. We passed Gibson and my husband loves guitars so we went in to look and decided to go on the tour. WOW....More

This is a real working factory producing state of the art and very expensive "must have" Gibson guitars. No photos are allowed, but it is amazing what goes into the making of a $1,000.00 to a $25,000+ guitar. All made in the USA!

We last toured the factory 4 years ago and were excited to see it again. It is a great behind the scenes look at how the Gibson hollow and semi hollow body guitars are made. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

The tour guide was very informative and eager to answer questions. Only semi hollow and hollow electrics are made in this facility. Advance bookings are a good idea to ensure a guide at a certain time. Otherwise you may have to wait for the next...More

The day we toured the machines were down so no one was working. I think the was good because no noise. We could hear everything the tour guide was saying. We saw everything from new wood to finished beautiful guitars. The solid type ones made...More

They make the hollow body and semi hollow body guitars here. Acoustics in Montana (Bozeman) and solid body in Nashville. So, even with focused product line, this factory takes up an entire city block. We were impressed with what is still done by hand. These...More

As a guitarist I really enjoyed the tour. My only suggestion is that Gibson team invest in wifi headphones. The factory floor is noisy making it difficult to hear the commentary...apart from that really good!!

Have always wanted to take this tour because my Papa was a huge Gibson fan but was very disappointed. Had the factory been operational it probably would have been great but just walking around the factory listening to the tour guide required too much imagination...More

Not sure but you want to try and go when they are making the guitars, you get to walk around the factory floor and see all the work stations.
