We visited Stax Recording Studio Museum in August of 2009. It is located an older neighborhood of Memphis. Stax Records was a part of my life. Before downloads this building provided the world with great music. Add this to your bucket list.

Hi, Jim. We recommend at last an hour and a half, but if you're a fan of the music and history you might want to stay longer. There's a lot to read and a lot of video. Hope this helps! Thanks, Tim
