Having had great weather this was a lovely walk, the falls were worth the effort as there are some difficult and steep paths to navigate but should be done.

Great views, but the walk can be quite strenuous. The paths are very rocky and slippy at times. Steps are very steep and would require some walking boots to prevent twisted ankles.

I and 4 friends did this walk today....up via the usual falls and then further up and along to the falls you can walk behind, cross behind and over to the other side and then back up, down and across the valley.

Nice walk. A few steps to watch out for. Also dress appropriately if you want to go under the waterfall on a colder day.

The four waterfalls walk is a must do thing when in the Brecon Beacons. The waterfalls are all stunning. The walk to each fall was about 5.5 miles long and took us 3 hours with picture stops. We are quite fast walkers though. The paths...More

We spend a few hours there, maybe 5 hours but you can make it in couple of hours if you want. We went on the more dangerous stip path and through the woods, found a few more waterfalls, then got lost on the way back, so it... More

I would say that the 8 year old should manage fine and I would assume that the youngest would be in a sling or carrier. The rucksack type, or in front of the chest sling would keep the hands free to negotiate the terrain. I... More
