Not much to see or do! Best off watching a wildlife show on television. The animals done nothing at all.

We chose a day when it was sunny as an outdoor activity. Read the information and noted that disabled were ok. They took your bladge in exchange for a rusty wheelchair. We noticed that the terrain wasnt exactly smooth before we got too far from the car park. We should have been more aware that the clue is in the... More

This isn't the biggest zoo I have visited but it does offer a good variety of animals. My favourite bit were the seals and penguins as you got to see them swimming under the water which was nice. Some of the other animals were hiding or asleep so didn't see them, the zoo is in a lovely location with nice... More

Entering the Welsh Mountain Zoo I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but after viewing the first couple of enclosures (a raven, a squirrel... so local wildlife in a cage?) I was feeling like we had made a mistake... however I was very quickly proven wrong! The zoo is a lovely little zoo, and had animals that I have not... More

We went along to the zoo on the Sunday of their community weekend, which is when the zoo throws open its doors half price to residents of Conwy county borough. The admission queues were quite long and we waited a good 15 minutes to get in. There was a fast track queue for cash payments, so worth bearing that in... More

We took our two young children age 2 years and 4 months and had a brilliant day. The shows were the highlight, we saw the birds which involved a Harris hawk and the penguins, unfortunately the Harris hawk didn't want to play so the poor guy spent most of the time trying to get him down from the tree. Despite... More

Really love this place, plenty to do without having to walk too far like the bigger zoos and really good value for money.

We came here with doubts due to the cold weather but it was fantastic. Animals well cared for and staff helpful. We spent around 3 hours there but loved every minute, just wear comfortable shoes

The penguin encounter at this zoo was great, really enjoyed the experience. The zoo keeper was great and really helpful! The zoo itself was very small and you could probably see all the animals within 1-2 hours.

We had a very enjoyable time here, our favourites being the otters and the lemurs. Its such fun walking through the lemur enclosure and being able to get close to them. It's a pity many visitors ignore the staff when they are told not to touch the lemurs! A little concerned by the small enclosure for the snow leopards and... More
