Family trip out

A little on the pricey side for entrance especially with a large family but all in all a nice day was had by all, my granddaughter loved the penguins best .

Family of four ticket was nearly £45. We went during February half term. This is extremely expensive for what you get. Some areas not ideal for a pram. Penguins and petting zoo are closed (due to government imposed). The biggest gripe I had was the enclosure space for some of the animals. I know zoo's can help with conservation of... More

Only a very small Zoo and very outdated but it has quite a lot of charm. The animals all look well cared for and the chimps are great fun. One of the chimps knows sign language and that makes for some interesting viewing. Great little Zoo for a day out.

Good way to spend a day, not too badly priced. There are seals, tigers and chimps there, but no major big animals like elephants, giraffe's or rhino's. Hilly and has steps so not great if you have a pram or disabled, as it can get very muddy on the wheels and is hard to push around with the steps. We... More

Had a great day out here. It is not big but what it has got is well presented. Staff were friendly. It was great to not feel any pressure, it was fairly quiet being October.

Took advantage of the special offer on Christmas Eve. Lovely place to visit with children. Lots of different animals to see, although. Always worth a visit

Disability access is appalling do not go if you are with anybody that is not fit and able bodied. Sealion enclosure was filthy and stunk. Chimpanze enclosure when i squinted my eyes i could see through the glass and they all looked bored and un motivated . We stayed 50 minutes and we had seen everything that was also including... Staying in Wales struggling to fill the day the Zoo is great choice especially at reduced xmas prices.. But feeling hungry whilst there is worrying!! Main cafe area closed as usual so the hundreds of customers expected to fill living room sized cafe leading to long queues, longer waits and awful standards in food!! Never get food plated as menus states... More

Had a lovely day here today, all the animals looked well kept and happy. Is in a wonderful setting, with great views. The only thing I could fault it on was the cafe, only the small one open, no room to sit and a lengthy wait for food, ended up not eating and only getting drinks, it really let it... More

The location of this zoo is beautiful good for families but definitely not older generation or disabled, thats the only good thing i can probably say about it the animals in this zoo look so miserable the places they are kept are too small, the bears are too thin, and all the penguins did was scratch themselves and pick at...
