Great little find, well worth a visit

This is a great zoo for people young and old to visit. Being on top of a mountain I didn't expect it to be very big, but it was big enough to last us 4 hours and I don't think we got round to everything! Me and my fiancée took our 7 month old son, and he enjoyed looking at... More

Excellent day out for the whole family. Seven of us in total including 7,9 and 18 year olds who thoroughly enjoyed it. Great value for money. The cafe food was of a high standard and the staff very helpful. A lovely little gift shop .

I was dubious about visiting yet another zoo in a holiday destination. I needn't have worried as from the moment we arrived I could tell this one was different. The zoo was packed even though we arrived quite early. Entry is paid for when entering the site whilst still in your car meaning that as soon as you get out... More

Really impressed with what they have done/doing with the zoo.not been here for a while and we only live a few miles away,I was that impressed we brought a family ticket for 12 months.the food in the restaurant was expensive and a bit tasteless to be honest,so will be taking pack lunches next time.keep up the good guys👍

Decided to go to Welsh Mountain Zoo to celebrate my Birthday as a group of six, having not been there for several years. I still cannot get over that there is a zoo tucked away on a mountain in North Wales! Considering it was a sunny Sunday it was pleasantly quiet and we were able to look around without lots... More

We had a great time at the zoo. Well maintained gardens with lovely flowers. Cafe is very expensive (£4.00 for a sandwich) the profits go towards maintaining the animals though and in line with what you pay at most zoos, so bring a packed lunch if that's an issue for you. Just be aware that the seagulls have developed a... More

Overall, a nice few hours trip but it's looking a bit dated and tired. Many of the displays are faded and damaged by the weather and the cafe is terrible.

This zoo is great value and so amazing. We got to see a penguin parade which was so cute and original, as well as other things that were more typical such as the sea lion show and birds of prey. My favourite part of the day and a memory I'll never forget was the lemur walk. You can walk around... More
